Do you like agriculture and hate hunger? Have you worked in Africa? Do partnerships, politics and policy analysis make you tick? If so, how about working at ONE through a prestigious fellowship program?
The Congressional Hunger Center recently selected ONE as a participating organization in its dynamic and renowned Leland Hunger Fellowship Program. We are honored to be a part of this program, and we asking qualified ONE members to apply for the placement at ONE.
ONE’s Leland Hunger Fellow will work with the THRIVE campaign for two years starting in October 2013 – first with our Africa Team in Johannesburg and then with our Agriculture Policy Team in Washington. The fellow will get to make noise in multiple political environments.
In Africa, the fellow will help on Africa-wide campaigns and with outreach to African civil society organizations and international NGOs. In Washington, the fellow will write and contribute to policy briefings, reports, blog posts and other campaign-related deliverables. We are looking for someone who has worked for at least one year in Africa and has experience with agriculture, nutrition or food security programs or advocacy. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US.
Please spread the word far and wide to your networks, encourage qualified candidates to apply and apply yourself if you fit the bill. The full placement description can be found here:http://www.lelandapplication.org/placements.
